Clocks change tonight

Don't forget, UKers, that the clocks go forward at 1am!!

I can't wait for the lighter evenings, and not being woken up by blinding sunlight at 5am! I can't sleep with curtains so I get woken up as soon as it gets light lol....

One step closer to summertime! Let's just hope we get one this year....

Jen can i ask why you cant sleep with curtains? I love the room PITCH black, the time from the cable box is too bright for my liking, lol

Lol! It's because I don't like waking up in semi-darkness- it feels to me like I've missed out on daylight. Back when I worked shifts, I used to go out after my 12-hour shift, get home at 5am, and sleep, but because my flat had blackout blinds, I never woke up until 12pm at the earliest on my days off, in fact a couple of times I didn't wake up until gone 4pm, by which time it was dark again! The thought of sleeping through the daylight is just too depressing, so now I like to know if it's light outside. I'm very good at just rolling over and sleeping again if I need to. In fact, I probably sleep better in the daylight than I do at night lol!

Poor Steve has had to live with semi-slatted blinds ever since he moved in with me.... I bet he wonders what he got himself into sometimes!

Our clocks get turned back one hour over here!! Groan I can't wait till they get turned forward again, it gets dark too early! We get an extra hours sleep though

I have been counting down for this time change since...well - since they changed back an hour in the autumn!

I hate short days.:grumpy:This means I can ride in the daylight on an evening again, woo hoo!

Me too! It's been a beautiful day here as well. I love that it's gone 4pm and there's still sunlight in my garden!

It did mess me up a bit though. I thought I'd woken up at 10 this morning (after Dotty had woken me up at 8am and snuggled up lol) so I rolled over for a bit, and then at 10.30 I realised it was actually 11.30! I changed all the clocks but forgot my watch, which was the one I happened to look at this morning lol...
