My rabbit run is enclosed by plastic-coated chain link fencing. Today I looked over to see....

BUB! Climbing the fence, using his front feet like hands and being much more coordinated than I imagined possible for a rabbit!!

Couldn't believe my eyes--of course, he looked pretty surprised at hisown daring and hung on swaying at the top, waiting to be rescued.:p

Honestly, that boy is a hazard!

Many rabbits can actually climb prettywell. I've had a number of rabbits scale 3' fences as well asbaby Dwarf Hotots climb all the way up the side of their cage.

I was really suprised to see how well bunniesclimb. Perry climbed up the side of his cage and when I found him hewas sitting on the radiator (not turned on). Like Bub, he waited to berescued, so maybe they can climb up, but not down :p- Jan

Well what do you know! Other weird climbingbunnies! I am afraid, though, that one time I won't catch him in time, stupid crazy little man.:X

Pandemonium was a flying bunny--she liked to leap backwards out of the clothes basket we corralled her and the others in.

Fergi, I'll post pics soon. :)Have some on the camera, in fact....

So, what are you going to do to keep him in the cage?

I know someone who had a bunny that would climb a very tall (like 5 foot) brick wall.

LOL sounds like you have your hands fullthere Rose, Bindy has suddenly become a jumper taking diving leps offour couch into bean bags, only thing is when the bean bag makes thesound of her flopping in it we come get her out, so her fun is cutshort, we have now blocked her off from that area

Oh, he stays in his cage, just climbs his run. I'm theresupervising, and if he escaped he'd be shocked at his freedom and comerunning right back to "his Rosie".I'll just make sure I'mthere to catch him when he decides to climb. hehe

Oh Rose Bindy is a little stinker too sometimes LOL
Think they all can be, but all the fun stuff makes up for all the trying stuff don't ya think? :p

I think Bindy thought it was fun to dive into the bean bag and hear thebeans make a squishy sound underneath her, she didn't look to impressedwhen I stopped her from doing it , she could get off the bean bag andget under a stand we have in the corner which has cords hiding underit!!

I had an excercise pen for Mr. Z atfirst. Wasn't but a few days til he was climbin up and overit. He looked like a cat.

Mine climbs small trees! Any protruding branchesup to 3 feet high have to be taken off otherwise its up the tree andover the wall. He normally then just ambles around the neighboursgarden eating things he shouldn't. It'sa constant rabbitvshuman battle to outwit him!

Whenever I open Lilly's hutch she tries to climbout! She can usually hear someone talking so she tries to get out! Ilet her out yesterday mornin when i went out in my pyjamas and ablanket and she kept hiding from me!
