I have a lionhead baby bunny, over 4 months now, and she constantly is getting poo on her bottom. Can I use unscented baby wipes? Any certain things I should look for or stay away from?
Thank you,
Calista

She shouldn't be getting poo on her bottom.
What is her diet like?

Well I mean. She doesn't have gooey poos. She just gets dirty on her feet and butt because she likes to sit in her poo box sometimes.

I would suggest finding a litter box with a grate or building one with light diffuser(eggcrate).
Bunnys can clean themselves quite well.
If its really bad you should never need more then a damp cloth.
But normal bunny poo should be dry enough to not cause much issue.

Unscented baby wipes can be used, I believe the only issue with baby wipes is to stay away from the scented ones. They won't always remove staining though, as if it's quite ingrained it may stay until the fur is shed.

In answer to your question, we have been using unscented baby wipes from WalMart for more than a decade--they aren't perfect but they get the job mostly done. We have had to "adjust" the diet of a couple of our bunnies also--one had a problem with pellets made with alfalfa in them and also had to cut the amount of veggies that 2 were given to a smaller amount with no apple in the AM and no Carrot in the PM as they are higher in sugar and contributed to the messy backside.
