hi can someone tell me when its ok to clean my rabbits nest? they were born 10 days ago now and keep wriggling out of it lol. its pretty clean from what i can see so is it ok to leave it a while longer and should i keep putting the babies back in when they wriggle out?:?they are indoors so its not cold. i just have to say this is my first ever lot of kits and am astounded how fast they have grown although there eyes arnt open yet i should imagine that will be pretty soon? thanks guys.:big wink:

Always clean the nest when the babies open their eyes. If you don't, they babies can get eye infections (remember, the nest is also their potty)

When you clean it, try to make it the way they mother made it. Save the fur that she pulled and replace with new straw/hay. Make sure you dig a hole in the back for the kits to gather in. Good Luck!
