Circling?

As of lately Trix has been circling me ( which i dont mind at all but when im walking the figure eights can be dangerous, i almost trip over him) and also doing the bunny flop on my feet, it probably means that he loves me but I've never had any of my females do the bunny flop right beside me or on me what does this mean? is this a sexual behavior ?

awwwww ...LOL well its still cute, is this only a behavior that a male rabbit will exhibit? or will a doe do it too? cause like i said none of my other girls ever did that!! :biggrin2:

well,,our house rabbit goes out of his way to greet me,,doesn,t matter if i walk out of the room for 1 min. or 12 hours,,,his main spring is wound and those little legs get quite the work out--we are both males,,and it really does my heart good to snuggle with him.(i hope this don,t sound gay.).like you say,circles,,figure eights can be hazzardous for all concerned,after the snuggling,set him down try to walk away.//.he is not fixed,,and the wife says he doesn,t circle her as often,,but we wouldn,t change him...sincerely james waller

Is he neutered? My first male did that. That's when (for reasons I can explain per pm), he was neutered. It helped. It also helps with bad litter habits.

No he is actually not neutered yet, we plan on it though, the place we got him from told us he was quite young and so I will take him to the vet to find out for sure when we can do it!! It is so darn cute though

Yeah, it is typically an unneutered male behavior. Though my male actually did it a few times about 6 months after his neuter - so he may continue to do it. It is pretty cute

Not just male behavior. Bonny, a little Dutch Girl used to do it to me all the time, even after she was neutered. I used to pick her up and carry her so I could walk around in the rabbit room. The really funny thing, for one of us, was if Nancy came in there while I was there, Bonny would hiss and screech and run over and attack her legs. Didn't tolerate competition.
