Christmas Party!

After a lot of prep, we had our Christmas party Sunday... I was nervous a bit because we had a couple people we don't know super well there (one a friend of Alexis' and one a friend of my sister's) and I had no idea how the night would go. But it went swimmingly!

Saturday we spent a majority of the day making candy... We made buckeyes, peppermint bark, cashew clusters, bacon and eggs (two colors), pretzel rods, coconut haystacks, and MARSHMALLOWS. Yeah, I made marshmallows!

In case you have never heard of bacon and eggs...

Then earlier today we made more cookies... Sugar cookies too this time. There were still... incidents...

And we ate! Our table doesn't have chairs (got broken in the move, haven't bothered to buy new ones since we have the bench and we normally eat at the island in the kitchen) so we borrowed some folding chairs from my gramma.

Then after the eating we went downstairs and I sat everyone down for stockings and presents. No Tanner was not there, he was with Alexis' mom, and stayed the night. He gets to do his stocking Christmas morning.

Haha, we're married yes. I'm 20 and she's 21. She's 11 months older haha. I just look a bit younger than I am. I always get carded for cold medicine and R rated movies. It's so funny.

I am really happy it went so well! It was really fun. I'm glad we did it... I almost didn't! But it was a great time, and everyone loved their gifts.

Oh how cool, You will be thanking the lord when your older that you look younger then you actaully are lol! How long ye been married, Oh and what state did you marry in? As Far as I know it is only legal in certain states, I know for gay men it can only happen in certain states, is it different for woman?

Sorry for asking such personal questions but the topic is some what of an importance to me.

Oh and just so everyone knows in no way did I intend to hurt feelings with this post I'm just intrigued.

Cait, it looks like fun! I want to go to a Christmas party. Also I still don't get how those cookies are anything other than dinosaurs. The one with a bite taken out of it looks like a volcano. And you are a shorty, just like me! I will be 25 in February and I've had people still think I'm in high school. As far as I'm aware I don't act really immature, I just look young. Heh. My mom looks just like me and is 57 but looks like she's maybe 45 so I'll probably be like that too.

We made fun of her ALL night for thinking they looked like hats... We kept saying "Well ACTUALLY they're hats" LOL! Next year you should come! Somehow magically, haha. But it would be neat. Everyone kept telling me today how fun it was... I'm really glad it went SO well. It was a good group so it's hard to not have a good time with all of us together.

Paul, we got married in Iowa. It's been legalized here since April, I believe. We got married in June. It's no different than it is for men, same rules apply.
