christmas bunny boom

it looks like the unwanted bunny boom after christmas is now hitting the internet. today alone in the phoenix craigslist i saw 8 separate postings for rabbits, most of them with more than one up for adoption.

check your local CL, newspapers, petfinders, pets911, and shelters for these little guys...and if there is anything you can do, even if its donate a few dollars to a local shelter to help them out with the new additions, please do so.

but you don't need me to remind you to do that, duh.

Thanks for posting this! I just checked my local Craigslist and all the bunnies are in Anchorage (aka 6 hours away), but then I checked the one in Washington where I am now visiting family, and there's an adorable baby Holland Lop needing a new home about 5 minutes away from me! I sent an e-mail and am waiting anxiously for a reply. Isn't she cute?
