Chewing on my walls

How do i get Olivia to stop chewing on my walls. She is chewing on the corners and is taking the paint off and Im scared of her getting sick from it. I have moved her from the area, tapped her on the nose, told her no...and she just goes right back to doing it :?

Have you tried a squirt bottle. Fraggles responded so well to the bottle that now we just have to shake it at her. If I do have to squirt her I like to aim just above her tail (which she is very pround of) It gets the message across and the foot flicks are entertaining. You can also try leaving out something chew friendly like some apple branches or even an old phone book.

If the squirt bottle doesn't work, you may need to go to an xpen or nic panels.

Or blocking off the area. There's a corner Harvey really loves, that nothing has really stopped him from chewing other than blocking it off.

Another area he used to chew on all I had to say was a loud "Hey" and move him and he eventually got the idea.

I'd go for blocking the area, so you'll know it's safe even when you - or the squirt bottle - are not around!
