How do I get my 3 month old female rabbit to stop chewing on everything? She has plenty of toys, paper towel rolls and hay to chew on. Yet she chews on the linoleum that is the bottom of her cage. (She already chewed though a tarp). Any suggestions would be great.

If you get a real answer on this, please pass it along to me. My brood chews on everything not nailed down including paint, carpet, Tide Boxes, Coca cola 2 liter bottles (Lady LOVES the plastic labels they taste great she says even better than Coca Cola) Soap ( Cashmere Bouquet is the best for Chica- Lady loves all soaps and is not partial), Paint (latex is the best for Chico and Chica but Lady loves Water based..), Plastic Storage box tops (Lady loves this it's her fav), The Dishwasher (Lady guilty again Metal taste great Mom!), My wood cabinets (Lady guilty again!) etc... and on and on...

Sometimes it helps to provide natural chewing options for them. Things like natural untreated wicker baskets, apple and willow branches, a 1x2 pine chew block(thoroughly dried), hard dried pine cones. But with some rabbits bunny proofing is the only thing that works. Try and make it so that your bun can't get to the edges, or you can sometimes use chew proof edging that is metal or hard plastic, to prevent the chewing. Also providing activities like a dig box or an old phone book to shred, make good boredom breakers. If all else fails, use a chew proof flooring like ceramic tiles, or sometimes heavy duty horse stall mats work well, though they are very heavy.

My dwarfs chewed the crap out if their linoleum

Ditto and I have apple, peach, and pear trees out in the yard. I always break off branches for them all to chew on and they have tons of toys that I always pick up for them. I think they do it just to annoy us!
