My bunny is always chewing on his plasticlitter box but I don't know why! Any ideas? He has plenty in his cage to chew on such as a paper towel roll, a straw jingle ball, a salt lick (which he nibbles every once in a while) and Apple Orchard Sticks. He has had carrot-flavored wood before but never touched them! Why does he insist on only chewing his litter box and is it harmful to him?

He shouldn't ingest any plastic as it'll have to pass out the other end it won't be fun. If he continues to chew on the box, try getting him a metal litter box instead. Something like those buffet line food containers, which you can buy at restaurant supply stores. They're not too expensive and will last forever.

Have you tried to give him some cardboard boxes? My buns won't play with anything but if I throw an old box in there, they play with it for days.
