Ok so i have wood blocks and cat toys that he loves to play with and chew on. But i've also read that other people give their bunnies magazines and phone books? Can i give my bunny magazines?(because we have plenty)

:?

Thanks,
Ashley

I would not give magazines as the paper tends to be more glossy and that is not good for rabbits. They also use a lot of colour inks, and I am not sure how safe they would be.

I give mine pinecones (pre-packaged at the petstores) and those ABC blocks that I also got at the petstore. They really like to chew on them. I have one rabbit, Dusty, who just went through an entire pinecone and block in about a week! He just chews chews chews! Keeps him entertained and his teeth in great shape!

Ours love newspaper and we fill a box with shredded newspaper and they love to dig and hide in there. Cardboard boxes are another thing they love. Just avoid ones with photo quality pics as that is a plastic applique and also was told that magazines were not good--any thing with a glossy look is a no-no. Paper towel and toilet paper rollers are good too.
