Hi all,
I am out of town, before I left my bunny seemed to hit puberty and was a little nuts for 2 days but then was acting normally again.
I have just received a notice from the human watching over her that she chewed through her phone cable. I find this really odd because my bunny has 100% no history of chewing anything. I let her run around in my small art studio, where I am an electronic artist. There are cables everywhere, more than just behind your TV I'm talking its hard for me to walk around there's so much stuff in a small space. The bunny loves it though and is always running through the root like tangles of cable and hiding under dirty laundry. The only thing she ever grabbed to chew on was a bamboo spoon I left on the floor. She seems to chew on her pen gate occasionally when she wants attention or food. It never lasts past that.
I told my friend to feed her fresh veggies if she starts chewing anything. But somehow last night she chewed through her phone cable. It seems like it is possible she was not being monitored when this happened. Maybe she was not getting enough food too?
I know rabbits chew naturally but have never had an issue with this bun and want some others opinions and ideas about this situation from other rabbit owners.
Each of the 3 rabbits I have had has been radically different from the previous and I still feel there is a lot to learn.
