We have a small orchard on the farm. It has apple, mulberry, pear, and cherry. Are all of those okay to use, to give them a bit of a variety? Or should I stick with apple (which is what I've done so far)? We don't spray our trees (or grass, weeds, etc) so no worry about pesticides or anything. Although the apples look horrible, the horses love them. LOL

We used to give our fresh apple and willow. Haven't checked on any other woods.

I had a better website before from an exotic animal vet with a list of woods but I can't find it so hope this one helps instead...

Thank you, Nancy and Bonnie. I checked the list. Apparently they can eat green leaves from all our trees, the only twigs that are safe are pear and apple. I'll just stick to apple, to be safe.
