To date there are over 50 variations of cheesecake.

From Regular to diffrent fruits to chocolate and some also Nut flavored (pecan).

I personally am addicted to Cheesecake.

My favorite..Plain. I want to be able to taste it and not whats ontop of it.

<3 I love cheesecake and speaking of which, I haven't gotten a bday cake yet....Oh Errik!!!!

Only 50? I'm sure there are lots more than that! There are entire cookbooks with nothing but cheesecake recipes and they have more than 50. And I agree, cheesecake is great! Plain is good, but I like it best when it has something else in it. Not that wild about chocolate cheesecake though or ones with coffee flavoring. I think my favorites are Black Forest, banana cream and peanut butter cup. And white chocolate cranberry and caramel swirl with a brownie crust. Delicious!

YES PLEASE!

Don't say cheesecake to a pregnant woman, now I'll have to get some tonight!

I love a chocolate swirl or chocolate mousse cheesecake. Yummmmmmmmm.......

Speaking of cheesecake, some of my friends and I have resolved to try every cheesecake on the Cheesecake Factory menu before we go off to college.

My husband is NUTS about cheesecake...it's been his birthday cake the whole time I've been buying them (note: that's four cheesecakes, hehe). And anytime I wanna make him really happy, we get one. :D

Me? I prefer them without the crust...but I do like them! :D

Here's one of my favorite recipes for mini-cheesecakes. These are always a hit at parties and they go fast! Super easy to make.

12 vanilla wafers

2 -8 oz. packages of cream cheese

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

2 eggs

-----

Line muffin tins with foil cupcake liners and place 1 vanilla wafer in the bottom of each.

Mix cream cheese, vanilla and sugar until well creamed.

Add eggs & mix.

Fill tins 3/4 and bake for 25 minutes at 325 degrees F.

Cool and top with cherry, blueberry or strawberry topping. Chocolate or nuts are also tasty!

Yup. I adore cheesecake. It's quite scrumptious. Come to think of it, though, I haven't had any in a long time. Now I'm craving it!

The mini cheesecakes sound so good! I've seen recipes like that and wanted to try them, but never have. Now I need to for sure!

I love cheesecake, too. My favorite is chocolate chip cheesecake with a chocolate crust.

A few years back, I went out and got a springform pan and all the ingredients. I was determined to learn how to make a good cheesecake.

It was a disaster. I must have spent hours and hours and way too much money (ingredients aren't cheap) and I just couldn't get it right. I decided to leave it to the professionals.

My local grocery store makes a delicious cheesecake. It has a chocolate crust, caramel on top and shaved chocolate on top of that - scrumptious!

Mmm, cheesecake! My favorites are plain and anything with the word "chocolate" in it. Heck, when you mix the 6th and 7th basic food groups... how can you go wrong?! :biggrin2:
