I thought it was about time I started a blog for Chase and the Little Bunny. I got Chase first about 4 years ago and the Little Bunny about 3 1/2 years ago. They both have such different personalities. I really enjoy having them and the happiness they bring to my life.

Chase will stand like this and listen to you talk forever. If I am on the computer or watching tv this is how she lets me know she wants some attention too.

My bunny friends. They love each other even if they hate each other right now.

I had the hardest time for awhile keeping them out of the cat litter boxes.

We go potty together and eat together.

Right now they are separated because of the Little Bunny fighting with Chase. To look at these pictures it is hard to imagine they can be mean to each other.

Time for some more pictures.

This is Chase eating snow. I was trying everything possible to get her to consume more water. She wasn't a big fan of the snow though.

Chase playing with her Timothy hay cave. She gotfor getting such good news at the vet.

The Little Bunny checking out the inside. Don't mind all the bunny poops. This was when I moved her to the new NIC cage and she pooped everywhere for a few weeks to let me know how unhappy she was. Oh and that brown box right behind the poop would be her litter box :p

Chase doing her first belly flop after surgery. Her belly flops are, she flops down and the rolls right back over. She is to fat to stay on her back or side. I don't know how I got this picture. You can see her shaved belly area. It had started to grow in a little at this point.

This is an x-ray of Chase's first bladder stone. I don't know if you can tell what is the stone, there are a couple flash spots. It is the round white spot to the right of her spine. (Chase's right would be your left)

And the innocent look I get when she realizes she has been caught lol

I thought it was about time I added some new photos.

This is a sad picture I found while going through my pictures. This was when the Little Bunny was sick and didn't eat for a week. She looks so sad in this picture. I tried putting all that hay around her to get her to eat. It reminds me how lucky I am that my bunny's are all healthy and happy right now.

When I tried to rebond the rabbits, Chase would go crazy biting and shaking the cage for hours. These are pictures of me trying to distract her with toys and things to chew on. You can see how well that worked.

Autumn

I love Chase and Little Bunny! Thanks for posting pictures of them!

little bunny is SOOO adorable!!!

I hope chase doesnt get into the habit of eatin the futon...i cant imagine it tastes any good :)

ahhh thanks everyone!

Autumn, that is hilarious. I have a Rainbow Bright too! Should have put it next to Chase to take a picture.

No holiday pictures. But not for lack of me trying. They just grunted and thumped at me and ran away when I tried to pose them. I tried to get pictures of them opening and playing with their gifts, but as soon as I would pick up the camera they would stop.

I am slacking with the bonding. It is just so stressful as Chase is mean to Little Bunny. Plus I feel bad because it cuts down on their time out running around when I have them bonding in the xpen. I am hoping when I move, I can put them together and take a few days off work and watch them closely. I think they will be so scared to be in a new place, they will bond for support. I will just have to watch them closely to make sure they don't fight once they get comfortable with the new place.

I am still apartment hunting. I am such a slacker. lol I like my place now but it is too much $$$ and I am not happy about down sizing. The bunnies like the 1600 sq feet to run and having huge cages.

try letting them bond with all the running space between them :)
they wont feel so stressed from being forced into a small area and may take to eachther better...hen theyll also get their run time in!

I also think that when you move house, they will be so shaken up that they will rely on eachother for comfort. The other plus is that the new place will be scent-free... no pre-existing territory marks :)

I hear ya though... I hate moving house.

Hmmm.. any New Year's photos? Maybe you can pose the buns with a bottle of champagne? :p
