Caviary Broken Into

My close 4H/rabbit/cavy friend has devastating news.

I am personally SO angry. And so absolutely upset over this.

UPDATE: (IMPORTANT)
I am sad, and very angry to say that the caviary was broken into last night. Multiple pigs were on the ground, running, from cages that were not open, or even possible to get out of. Several sows were thrown into one cage with a boar, and one pregnant sow was murdered. I am 99.9% sure who did this, and believe me, court papers will be in their mailbox faster than they can run. It is a sad day.


From this incident, she will lose an additional one sow through pregnancy complications, if she did indeed get pregnant. That sow is also one of her dear pets. The sow that was murdered was a recent addition to the rabbitry/caviary, that she drove down to OR (a rather expensive trip) to pick up.

This is another devastating loss to her. She's been through a lot in the last few months.

She will be tonight. Or perhaps she has.

She wouldn't let me come over to help clean because the police were suppose to be there later tonight.

The worst part is she's "99.9" certain that it was her neighbor who did this. He's also killed cats of hers, and threatened to shoot her. =/ I can't believe things are getting this bad.

Oh my gosh. That is awful. I hope the police are able to catch the sick fool who did this, and that they put him in jail for a long time.

That is my biggest fear of my rabbits.. But I think somebody would be to scared coming up to the gate and here a Doberman go flipping nuts. I mean she sounds like shes going to kill somebody if they get to close to the fence..

Same here, I have 3 dogs, little attack dogs.
One of the dog crys when she know something is wrong or about to happing, she also brings in the baby rabbits she finds on the grass.

Ive never had any animals stolon, but if I did I know who would have done it, I have good security In my Rabbitry.

=/ My whole rabbitry is just in my backyard, in wood hutches. I didn't have money to buy a building (although it's in the talks of us making a shed outback this summer)... It scares the crap out of me that someone could just walk back there, and kill/steal/free all of my rabbits. D=

hopefully police do something about this..if she has received a threat against her then she should file a restraining order...if the case is bad enough he may have to move.

Have you heared any more news about your friend.:?Did they catch the heartless #@**### that did this horrible thing.

If you know who they are you can get them done from Trasspass and thieft.
They person who did this will also have to pay for the guinea pig she murdered.

Megan.. People use to come in my backyard and steel my goats, i dont know why they wanted the goat for. No ones tried to steel any of my bunnies yet.
