So, last night about 11pm I'm yawning like crazy and figure it must be time to go to bed. Lock the doors, check on the rabbits, mumble goodnight to Mathew, shut the cat in the lounge...wait...where is she?

"Breeewwsstterrrr? Brewwweeee!"

Check behind the curtains to see if she's looking out the window. Nope. Check under the bed with a torch. Nope. Check under the spare bed...still no cat. Ok. Search all the closets. No Brewster. Hmm, scratch head. Look in all the cupboards and drawers in the house. Look in the garage...no cat. Check everywhere I've already looked ten more times. Go outside and yell frantically for her. Spot a piece of rubbich on the road and think it's her and almost scream...nope, just some plastic bags.

Come back inside and wake Mathew up.

"I can't find Brewster!"

*mumble mumble* "Just get in the bed Michelle, she'll be sleeping somewhere...*snore*...goodnight"

I lay in bed staring at the ceiling worrying about her until 3am, getting up frequently and whispering her name.

Finally at 3:30 I fall asleep, to be woken by something scratching at my toes trying to get out of the bed.

She was sleeping IN THE BED the WHOLE TIME!

:grumpy:

Mat had no clue she was there?!

LMAO, in my experience sometimes they DO know, it simply DOESN'T occur to them to say anything in that moment, when they are half asleep.

Yes he did know :grumpy:, he's always trying to get me to let the cat sleep in our room, he says it's "cosy", but he's never prepared to get up in the middle of the night to let her out of the room to go to her litter tray, so I always say "NO!".

He reckons he forgot she was there :p.
