Take all the food on the ground away (if you put out any food bowls for them)

If you have a dog crate this trick will work best with one.

Open the door and stick a bowl of their FAVORITE treats in the back.

Then tie a string to the door and string it through the back of the crate.

Make sure the string is long enough foryou to go and hide and wait for the rabbits to come and sniff itout.

As soon as the are far enough in pull thestring!

OR

You could buy one of these traps

And not have to worry about sitting aroundand waiting for your rabbit.

Unless you have a net with a super longpole it would be kinda hard to get them. And sometimes when yourswooping down you can hit them hard which can be dangerous, especiallyif your like me and have VERY bad hand and eye coordination.

P.S I have never actually hit a rabbitwith a pole, but I can certainly see myself running around whacking atthe ground with a very long net.

Catch 'em with a crab net almost daily, that is those who are free ranging for the day. Four to five foot pole enables one to get close enough to do the job. When both of us are retreiving buns, sometimes just the sight of the net causes them to freeze and permit us to pick them up.

Little bump on the head is minor compared to living on their own in a feral state.

Agreed that a crab net works very well, Buck. Thanks for introducing the idea to me.

Rosie is none the worse for her interaction with the crab net ;).
