How much do you feed per cat per day? 1/4 cup per adult cat...kitten hasn't shown interest in dry yet.

Canned food....
What brand is it? I mainly feed Authority - no by-products.
What flavors do you feed? All of them.
Do you rotate flavors & brands daily, weekly, etc? I always feed a can of Authority per day but I also sometimes rotate feeding California Natural, Blue Spa, Nutro, Wellness, Natural Balance, etc.....whatever is on sale & has no no named meat by products (ex: I don't feed "meat by-products"...I like to know what meat is used).
What size cans do you usually buy? 6oz cans, sometimes 13oz cans if available.
How much does each can cost per size? $0.58 cents - $1.29 per 6oz.....$1.40 - $2.19 per 13oz.
How much do you feed per cat per day? Each cat gets 6oz per day right now. Once we start fostering my MIL's cat.....they will each get 3oz per day of canned and 1/4 cup or so of dry or more if needed.

MONTHLY FOOD COST PER CAT: about $17...sometimes more depending...
TOTAL MONTHLY FOOD COST: $66, sometimes more depending on what brand of canned I feed.

What brand? Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat (and looking for a cheaper kind to mix in).
What formula (multiple, indoor, etc)? Ultra (in the blue bag).
It is clay, clumping, wood, wheat, corn, etc based? clay, clumping, and non-tracking.
How many litter boxes do you have in your house? 1 for my two adults, 1 for my kitten...when we get my MIL's cat, then I will have 2-3 large modified rubbermaid bins.
How many pounds do you buy per month? 40 now, but will probably buy 80 next month with 4 cats.
How often do you scoop the litter box? Probably 2+ times a day.
How often do you completely change out old litter for fresh litter & wash the box? Every 2 weeks I dump the litter into a bin, then wash out the litter box & return the litter. Every month I completely dump the litter into the trash & wash out the litter pan.

MONTHLY CAT LITTER COST: $17 right now, but will go up to $34 when buying 80lbs a month.

In that 20 I figure in Phoenixes heats guard and frontline.
I buy the huge frontline and split it up according to weight. I get four months out of 1 15 dollar tube. For bruiser who was 12 pounds I got 7 months.

Her heart guard is about fours bucks then I buy all of kieths old dog food bags for her. And he always gives her treats for free

I agree, Alicia! I think it is okay to do it for one animal if they are okay being singles, but for rats you'd get a little confusing because most people have multiples and I doubt I could even figure out how much a single pair costs, LOL. Same for piggies, I suppose.

My family owns them and its completely insane. I suppose it varies depending on what you actually do with them though. My family has show horses and the bills are completely unreasonable. *shudders*

We get a 25pound bag of kitty litter from Tractor supply for 2.50 and it works as great as the top of the line crap.

And we spend maybe 10 on cat food a month
