I also feed my cats Taste of the Wild. They were on Chicken Soup for the Cat Lovers Soul, but our 1 year old male cat had horribly stinky poo's. TotW cleared it right up, not to mention there's no more through up's around the house.

Pitten has stomache issues. It showed up before I learned about good food/bad food. He started with blood in his poop and throwing up. So I looked up his problem and took the advice I found. I switched his food and it cleared up. However I still did not know about proper cat diet and 6 months later he was sick yet again. I started cutting out the hard food and feeding lots of wet. Then our tractor supply moved in and I found Taste of the Wild. Him and our kittens eat TotW feline as well as turkey, chicken, offal, bones, etc. No stomache problems since getting him off of the hard food with grains. He has done even better since the switch from wet can food to TotW and raw.

I am confused I thought you were keeping the mom?

No

long Story we where going to keep no one. Money and wanted to be able to foster. Then my sister desided she wanted boss. So we got really attatched. Now her husband is saying no but she is still trying to convince him.

I dont think it will happen.

Well I just got a job as of yesterday. So we are able to keep a cat but when we took mom to the humaine society to get her FLV test. Someone fell in love with her that had just lost there cat. So they put in a app for her. And where aproved she will be leaving in two weeks and the kitten will be leaving in about 3.

So its not for sure if we even keep boss but most likly.

If you checkout the last page of my blog it explains in more detail. As to when we made the desision not to keep mom to today whenthe dession was made about boss.

We feed our babies Innova EVO dry food. They refuse to eat wet, so it has to be dry.

We used to feed Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul, and it's a really wonderful food (one I highly recommend), but Hobbes has issues with cystitis, and the only thing that helps is the EVO.

:D

One of my cats has renal problems so she gets a specially formulated wet food (Royal Canon Renal), my other two get Whiskas wet and dry food and occasionally some meat.

I feed Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's soul, currently. I am also trying out different high quality cans of wet cat food with them. They only like "fishy" flavors in the wet food.

I had them on Eagle Pack Holistic and they did the best on it and loved it so much, but it was like $22 for 6.6lbs...just too much for us to pay. I want to start searching for a good high quality food that I can buy in bulk, but the only store to buy it is the local grain store or boutique pet store....and they aren't super cheap. For right now, Chicken Soup is working for us. I just need to find the right food for the right price...cat food is so much more expensive then the dog food.

I did have the kitties on EVO last year, but Juju got such nasty wet poops....he would track it all over the house, bleeeh!
