I'm just wondering if anyone watched Castle this week - its on ABC (and on the website ABC.com).

Eric got me to watch it because it has Nathan Fillion (the captain of "Firefly") as the main character....he's an arrogant (or should I say ARROGANT) mystery writer who is involved with the police force (and hoping to be involved with a certain someone on the force I'm sure).

I've always enjoyed Nathan Fillion - I'm trying to think of what else he was in....

Anyway - just thought I'd see if anyone else is watching it....I have to say I enjoyed the first episode and look forward to seeing more.

Peg..
He was in Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Caleb
2 Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place
He was in Dracula 2000 as a PRIEST!!!(Which also has my husband, Gerard Butler, as Dracula..slurp..)
And he was in Saving Private Ryan, he was the First Pvt Ryan they came across and told him his brothers were dead, then discovered he was the wrong Pvt. Ryan.
That's what I know him from anyway..
He's no 6ft7 Aussie.. but he'd do in a pinch..
(Aussie men are incredibly arrogant, mine is anyway)

Um...yeah...I'm officially hooked!

His smirk at the end...wow!
I know....

He also was in "Blast from the Past" as the old boyfriend who was very arrogant...and even in Firefly (and Serenity - the movie) he was arrogant sometimes and he was in the internet musical "Dr Horrible's Singalong Web blog" or something like that (he was VERY VERY arrogant as Captain Hammer).

Thanks for the listing of his roles Zin - I should've remembered him from Saving Private Ryan because Eric always reminds me of that whenever we talk about this actor...

I meant to add that I LOVED seeing James Patterson in the poker game - I forget who the other mystery writers were (I need to go back and check the credits)...but I loved how they talked about Alex Cross and how Patterson wouldn't kill him off...then again - I used to read a lot of the Alex Cross books...

I think I saw the preview for it.
Sounds good though.
i saw the preview too..........love the part where he starts leaning towards her and she goes "you do know i'm wearing a gun, right?". y'all know what i'm talking about?

how clean is it? like language and innuendo and stuff? i'm trying to decide if i should beg my mom to let me watch it, but there's no point if it's......youknow:p

I think you might want to pass - the language isn't bad but there are innuendos...after all...he's been a bit of a wild guy / playboy and has lead sort of a rock star life.
