Car trouble :-(

I love my car....:inlove:

....but not when it breaks down!!! :nonono:

I went to the store and when I came out, there was a puddle under it.

I think..."No prob...it's probably the AC"

Not so

The puddle was red liquid and gooey...and it was hard to turn the wheel by the time I got home.
Most likely the power steering.

So I get under the hood to check, and the dipstick is missing.....not leaking from the tube....just missing.
The leak is coming from somewhere underneath.....likely a line or hose since the leakis on the opposite side from the pump.

And it's Sunday so the car shops aren't open.
I think I can limp it over in the morning....it's only a couple of blocks.
I'm sure they won't have parts...they never do for my KiaRio...neither does the dealer.
So it looks like a couple of days of bumming a ride off of MrsD.
She's off tomorrow so that helps a little.
I guess I should be extra nice to her today..huh?

Good thing I had some Woody Pet to throw down on the leak on my driveway!
One more good reason to own bunnies.....I guess.

Another good reason is that if you have one that will cuddle a bit.....it can help you destress...

Well, I just finished vacuuming the bunnie room....so there no hugs coming from there.
Lottsa thumping though.

So I'm off to vacuum the pool.
It's such a shame that it's best done whilst in the pool.....

The car shop called a little while ago with the damage report....

The power steering rack is shot....and I just had it replaced a little over a year ago.
And, YES it's only under warranty for a year :grumpy:.
It was a different shop that did the work....won't be going back there.

It's going to cost over $1000.:faint:

It'll be done this afternoon.
Good thing, because I may be headed to the vet with another sick bunny. Brindle didn't finish her dinner last night and turned her nose up at breakfast. It doesn't look like she's eaten any hay. I can't tell if she drank much. Her litter pan was pretty full from the day before, but I don't know what output she's had since yesterday.
