On thursday I will be going away to Virginia, which is 8 hours from me by car.
I can't leave my rabbit Syd, because I will be there for a month and don't really want anyone taking care of him but me. He's only 9 weeks old and has never been around anyone but me, i'd feel better taking him.
His cage is too large to fit in the car with all my other stuff, and my familys. I will be folding up his cage.
He gets about 10-12 hours free range every day, and only sleeps in his cage, he gets pretty tetchy being left in his cage.
So I am wondering how the 8 hour car ride will effect him. Will he be alright? or do you think it will stress him too much.
His carrier is a cat carrier, he fits fine (hes a baby netherland dwarf so hes small)
I wont be driving, so I can sit in the back with him, hes been in the car several times before, but for less then 20 mins each time.

On the bright side, where I am going in VA has lots of space for him to run and play.
But I am packing a few travel cages in the back with me, as I also am bringing my 15 rats which take up 2 cages (boys rats girl rats).
