Captain Kangaroo

The tv in the morning for me, when I was a kid, was tuned to Captain Kangaroo, and his Treasure House. Mr. Moose, Mr. Green Jeans, Grandfather Clock, Dancing Bear, Dennis the painter, and Mr. Bunny Rabbit, are all etched in my mind.

Does anybunny here remember this?

I never got to see Captain Kangaroo (though I certainly have heard of it, and am in an age bracket where I would have been young enough to watch it). Probably it's because I'm in Canada...they most likely didn't air it here. Us Canadians grew up watching The Friendly Giant, Chez Hélene, and of course...Mr. Dressup!
