Can't Decide: Samsung Tocco Lite Or LG Cookie?

So for Christmas I think I'm going to get a new phone because mine is a very old Nokia flip up and I think it's time to let it go! So I want to get a modern phone, I'll probably have this phone until next Christmas and I can't decide whether I should get the Tocco Lite or LG Cookie! :?

The phone needs to be pretty easy to text with, I text really fast and don't have patience for a slow, annoying keyboard. I want one with a good web broswer as well. Also, I want one that's reliable and hopefully not going to die after a couple months.

So, does anyone own either of these phones? What do you think of it?
Any tech savvy members have any opinions on which one would suit me best?

I prefer the look of the LG Cookie but I don't know......

I don't have the LG Cookie, but do have an LG phone (Shine) and have been happy with the quality of it.

14 year old daughter has the LG Cookie, as do several of her friends. all seem very pleased with it - we would have heard by now had it not been any good in other words she would have demanded an up grade.....

as she's not on this forum i can say that i've tried it out and found it quite easy to navigate - im not that good with modern tech. you do get a neat little stylus but daughter uses her elegantly filed nail:biggrin2:

Every Samsung phone I've ever had still works like the day I got it. The LG does look better though.

I've always been a fan of Samsung phones. I just got one yesterday actually (but not that one).

I have a friend with the Tocco and another with the Cookie, the one with the Tocco loves and it it's still going strong, the Cookie however has become really, really slow over time and it;s a big buggy. Both look good though!

Yeah I heard that about the cookie before, that seems to be the way with a lot of LG phones. Both my friends got a different type of LG phone and both are having problems after just a short time.

I ended up getting a totally different, even cheaper phone because I wanted to get some other stuff.
