Canadian newbie with TONS of questions!

Hello guys! I am very excited to join this forum, I have been lurking for a bit and you seem like an awesome community with some gorgeous buns.
I am eighteen, and I'm graduating high school in June.
I have always loved rabbits, my parents bought me an intact angora when I was really young. (What a stupid idea.) That obviously didn't work out well.
I have been thinking about it for awhile and I think it's time for me to get myself a rabbit.
I have looked just about everywhere to find someone who breeds Dutch's and ships to Manitoba (my province) and I have finally found someone.
I may be crazy for being ready to spend $100+ alone to ship a rabbit when there's tons of breeders and pet store buns around here, but I really want a dutch.
I do have a lot of questions though.
Should I post them here? Or in a different forum?
They range from housing, to training, to health, to diet.

Hi welcome to RO! I love dutchies they are such pretty bunnies. In fact before I got my bunny I was considering getting a dutch.

About your questions, I think its okay to post them here. You can also post them in other forums. Its up to you.

They range from housing, to training, to health, to diet.

As a general rule, you're more likely to get answers when your question is in a forum which specializes in the area. So,

• Put questions about housing in the Housing and Environment forum
• Training and diet questions probably should go in Nutrition and Behavior
• Health questions could go in the Infirmary if the bunny is ill, or in Nutrition and Behavior http://www.rabbitsonline.net/f27/otherwise.
• General posts and questions can also go in the Rabbits Online forum, and that would also be the place to post rabbit-oriented threads in general.
• If you've got questions about taking pictures of the bunny, or anything about cameras or photography generally, see our Camera Corner (that's the forum I'm the mod for, so I had to mention it)
• To post pictures and stories about your bunny's ongoing life, once you get one, start a Bunny Blog - or the bunny can chat with his or her bunny friends in the Bunny Chat forum
