I know the answer will probably be no but I have two does and one of them (Tilly) has recently been quite agressive and constantly mounts the other and shes just generally so hyper. Whereas Poppy is lovely and so nice natured she never nips never mounts and is already pretty laid back. I really need to stop this for Tilly's and Poppy's sake but I was wondering if it would be ok to spay Tilly and not Poppy because it almost seems a bit silly to put Poppy through it all, also shes so tiny im scared she won't be able to cope with it. (I know it can stop ovarian cancer though) Also I'm a bit concerned because Tilly's brother died when he was put under anesthetic that she might not be able to cope with it either?
Thanks

There are still other reason to have them both spayed other then behaviour, and it really does come down to their long term health. They may do better getting spayed at the same time so they can go to the clinic together, recover together, etc. Rabbits dont normally die under anesthetic, something was either seriously wrong with the rabbit, or the vet had some issues. In any case, I would personally look for a new vet.
My brats were both done at 3.5months old. 2 lbs. And there weren't any issues other then Lily being sad that she was seperated from Loki.

I have 3 females that live together, only one of them is spayed because like yours she would mount all the others and be dominant to them. Now she is spayed it has stopped this and there has been no need for me to get my other girls spayed. :)

Sweetie was spayed and she is tiny. I was very nervous about her being spayed, but I knew that she would be healthier and live longer. I was also afraid that she would not make it through the surgery. I trusted my vet because he had been honest with me about doing rabbit spays and he also extensively researched on how to do a rabbit spay, I also helped him by sending him a video of a rabbit spay being done on a rabbit that was tiny like mine.

Sweetie went to get spayed and she made it through the surgery and I was very happy. So I would get them both spayed at the same time, especially if they are bonded to each other.
