I just read something and I am wondering if it isaccurate. I read that you should not put a neutered male witha non spayed female for a few weeks after he is neutered because hecould still impregnate her. I have a buck who is going in tobe neutered next week and a doe who isn't going until the end of Feb.(my vet wants to wait until she is a little bigger), but they have beenout to play together (with lots of supervision to prevent unplannedkits :)) and they love each other. Should I wait or can theylive together after his incision has healed? I'm suddenlyvery confused.

I believe that there is still viable sperm leftin the "holding tank" so to speak for up to two months. I might bemistaken on the lenght of time but it is awhile. Make sure you keepthem apart! We have had a few people who ended up with litters that way!

That's correct, a neutered male can still impregnate a doe for a few weeks after. I'm not sure why but it's the truth. :)

Yep, I heard a couple of months myself. You could watch them again but still, not living together for now.

Yep, I've heard that 4 weeks is a good time towait (that's from HRS). My bunny, Winston, got neutered 2 weeks agotoday, so he won't be meeting Mabel (the love of his life! ;)) foranother 2 weeks.
