So, I haven't updated really any here since... well my chocolate drops was born. I haven't had the best 6 months, been in and out of the hospital with Mono. and Lyme disease and just1 week after the lyme disease I got sick and am now just getting over that. My rabbit breeding had been driving into the ground as well so I put a stop to it for a bit. I had 2 litters die at 2 weeks, of all things to die from they got COLD! I have asked and asked but no one can tell me how in the heck 2 litters of 6, fully furred, died from the cold at 2 weeks old. 1 litter was inside and 1 litter was out, both times the tempature was over 60 degrees.
Moving on, I had a litter of 2 chocolate Holland Lops bornApril 6st. They was my first chocolate Holland Lops(1 of the littersof 6 that died was a F2 litter sadly, had loads of color and was looking forward to some nice typed babies). The 2 babies was born to a broken chocolate doe and a solid chocolate buck which came from my good friend in Canada. Both are pretty brood in type but they have been breeding stock for 2 other breeders so they are used They gave me a buck and a doe, both solid in color. The doe ismy baby :biggrin2:I got big plans for them in the future, the doe will be bringing my boy Blizzard out of retirement. He was and is still going to be what my Holland Lop line is going to revolve around.
Ok, i better stop rambling, pictures now!
My little girl, no name, I haven't had a name slap me across the face while I've been holding her, yet. Haha. 8 weeks and 2 days old in these pictures(today -June 3rd). Probably starting ganglies already. Just dropping her 2nd ear!
My little shy boy, no name, waiting for "that" name to come, still. 8 weeks and 2 days old in these pictures(today -June 3rd). Probably starting ganglies already. Not started dropping his 2nd ear yet, just has them both down in the pictures. He isn't much of a poser.
