It's very vague details, butI remember seeing it a LONG time ago.

It's somewhat like rain man. There's this middle aged man, and he lives with his elderly mother. He's mentally challenged and he has some sort of disease that's slowing killing him (I actually want to say it's the disease that turns your bones hard like rocks over time)... I think. I'm really not sure. I remember it being very sad, but very interesting. And I don't know why, but I keep remembering that he had on a light brown overcoat in the movie.

Vague details, I know, but does this sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks. :)No one probably knows, I know I gave really vague details but it's all I remember. I just saw it once and remember liking it and wanting to see it again.

I tried looking it up in IMDB and I came across Sixth Happiness. I don't know if that is it, I have never seen the movie. You can check out IMDB for yourself and see if anything rings a bell.

Good Luck,

MY LEFT FOOT! Oh, I didn't think of it, because he has CP, not a bone disease. It didn't even dawn on me. :headsmack

It's a good movie, I got to watch it in High School, I was in a "smart kids class" so we got to do all sorts of cool stuff that we normally wouldn't have gotten to do.

It wasn't Door to Door with William H. Macy was it?

He had Cerebal Palsy and was a door to door salesman. He had a tan trenchcoat he wore.

No, but Door To Door is my all-time favorite movie. I've read the memoirs book and seen the movie dozens of times. It's such a wonderful and inspirational movie.

After reading some reviews, I do believe the movie I am looking for is indeedMy Left Foot. I'm going to rent it at Blockbuster tomorrow. :D

Ah I know my left foot, isnt it about a man in a wheel chair who draws and writes with his left foot, because he has no use of his upper body?? That was a great film! I did it for my exams in school. Hope its the same film you are looking for :highfive:
