Some people, Like my mom are wonderful bakers. Pies, Cakes and other kinds of her creations. But me on the other hand.

I can't cook for nothing.

A week ago I wanted to make cookies for a class party...I caught the oven on fire.

I am now not aloud to use the oven, So my moms friend got me a toaster-oven.

No one told me sprinkles go after...I wanted them to be baked in.

Can anyone cook.

Gimme some stories.

I bake really well. Infact, I was in deep kaka today because I didn't bake cookies for Christmas! Everyone loves them and I always make them. I just didn't have time.

I am the official family cake baker, pie maker, candy maker, and of course Cookie Queen!

Haha I'm not allowed to cook because everything keeps catching on fire but baking I'm great at.

I made green bean casserole for the first time in my life on Monday. Now I feel accomplished!

One lesson I learned a long time ago was on my 12th birthday.

Mom made me a round bundt cake topped with powdered sugar. When I blew the candles sugar went through the flames and lit up like a blow torch.

Powdered sugar IS highly flammable in the right conditions!

I'm the baker in the family. My mom can cook, but can't bake for anything. I made cookies for her once to take to a work potluck and her work LOVED them so much they offered to pay me to make them for all of their functions. lol. :pI've been asked countless times for the recipe and I'm not giving it up.

i don't mind baking, but i'd much rather cook a dinner or something. i hate doing exact measures, and baking can go wrong SO easily!

but i'm a pretty good cook i'd say :)

I know!!..

You put the wrong kind of flour and it turns into baby mush but cooking you put the wrong type of vegi, it still tastes good!!.

I can bake, because it requires following a recipe and I'm really good at that. I am not a good cook, if it involves making something from scratch.

I love to bake, especially pies, cookies, bread, cake, jelly rolls, etc... all the fattening stuff! :eats:

I love to bake, using recipes as a base (or not) and experimenting from there. Most of it has turned out alright, surprisingly. Never have gotten a sponge cake to stay 3D, though... maybe it has something to do with siblings slamming the oven door? :p

Cooking is done in a similar way as baking when I do it, and making beverages is a favorite of mine. The whole family's still here, so I guess that says something.

My mom on the other hand...
