What do you mean, it's not working? You can't find starter stock or it's not working out genetically? I don't know much about Jersey Wooly's but we need a bit more information in order to help. :)

Oh sorry Basicly what I'm trying to find out is there a genetic way to get a chin from an otter that has a chin grand dam and bred that otter to a chestnut buck or is that not gonna work cause it's not the same geneticly cause it doe'snt have the chd gene?? So if not do I just need to keep looking for a chin to buy?? And sorry I'm not very good at this forum thing yet I'm new Thanks!!!

There's probably not much of a chance unless they both carry cchd, or one is cchd and the other carries something recessive to that in the C series.

If you can find a silver marten and breed it to the chestnut buck there is a high chance that you will get chinchilla babies.

There won't be any chance of getting chin babies unless the chestnut carries cchd (or something recessive to cchd).
