Camp

My princess left with her church youth group for Schroon Lake, New York on June 27th. She's daddy's little girl and since birth has had me wrapped around her finger.We received an email from one of the leaders, with pictures of the group at NiagraFalls and that they reached ScroonLake without anytroubles. She and the others in the group are all settled in and getting ready for their big week of competitions and seminars etc.

The house lacks its usual perkyness since she left. Its going to be a long week!

My two younger siblings just got back from a week of choir camp. It was so quiet when they were gone. They are night people and I am a morning person, so it was nice to actually get to bed at a decent hour and not have them come barging in. I keep trying to tell my siblings that going to sleep at 3:00 AM does *not* make you a morning person, but they don't listen. I am glad that they are back though. It was rather boring without them. My older brother had work so I only had my mom to talk to and no one to pester, lol.

Oh man.....I worked as a waitress at the Word of Life Inn the summer I was 17....I had a blast.

Since then, they've redone a lot of the accomodations and I know some things have changed...but I'll never forget that summer....
