Our little foster has taken a liking to hiding under his new chew toy. So cute!

He is doing really well lately. He still likesto bite when held, which is confusing me. I support his whole body andtry to make him feel comfotable. My whole family is still afraid ofhim. He did chase everyone around and bite them. They dont realize heis getting much calmer and nicer. But that time may come later whenthey have had time to realize he isnt as mean as we thought.

LOL its the old addage 4 lbs of terror , lol .

He will get more comfortablewith being picked up but itsgoing to take time Not knowing everythingthat has happened to him inhis past , there may be agenuine fear of being dropped ,thrown or any of the other horrors ofprevious ownership . Biting is a defense , " I bite" " you put down " give himtime he will come around withlove and patience.

I forgot to mention on this forum that he reallyreally needs a home. I am not comfortable with rabbits and just donthave the room to give him a big cage.

I try to save his fruit treats for when I am going to hold him. Makinga bribe for no bites. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I know that Kmart carries them. You get 16 or 18for 20 bucks. You pay more for less grids. I know thathttp://www.lnt.com carries them too. Theyhave them in silver, black, grass green and fire red/orange. I likedthe red/orange and green.

I got them at Kmart on sale for $15. They hadthem on clearance. Which makes me so sad because it will be much harderto get more if I change cages around.

Awwwwwwwwwww wish I have money I would go buysome of them and use the regular grids for the bottom of the guinea pigcages as a storage also to raise their cages up so my hubby's parentsdon't have to bend down on the floor.

Just a quick note, the mesh grids and theregular grids arent the same size and cant be connected with theconnectors that come with the packs.

Thanks for the warning. I probably will use themesh grids for the baby bunnies we will have when we breed them. Theregular grids we will use for the males and the temp housings until theyounguns are sold.

Time for nail clipping. I can't believe I got him in a trance. Sure wish guinea pigs did that! My life would be much easier.
