Hey

I have a camcorder, it's pretty good except we got it in 2000, it's a canon v500, it's the type you connect to a tv and record the footage onto a video. Ok so I'd love to be able to put videos on my computer so I'm asking is there anyway to go about it since I can't connect it to the computer? Or is it impossible?

From what I can gather is you'll need a usb cord to connect it to the computer as well as a video editing card so it can hook up properly. I could be wrong though.onder:

It doesn't have a usb cord though, I don't think there is a way to connect it to the computer, is there a way to get the footage from a video to a dvd or from the cam to a dvd so I can put the dvd on the comp?

The only way to move it from video to dvd is to get duel vcr.dvd that dubs video to dvd then u can put the dvd in the computer and then copy it to the computer
