holy crap, congress did something about something I'm constantly griping about!! I'm watching the rachel maddow show and was just informed that the "best new thing in the world" is that a bill passed a couple years ago that goes into effect as of midnight tonight - from now on, it's ILLEGAL for commercials to be significantly louder than the TV show they're interrupting and you can complain to the FCC if they do it anyway!

that is TOTALLY the best new thing in the world.
