:bunnydance::bunnydance:Hi i got Buttons from my fiancee John as a surprise christmas present, he was told that she was a Californian breed and she was 3 months old......we got her a cage and all the stuff that you need for a bunny....lol a lot of stuff, stupidly we didnt ask how big she would grow etc so we soon found out that her new cage was way too small....we got another cage a big one this time......
Poor Buttons after a few days in her new home she became unwell and she need to go to the vets every day for injections of pain meds and antibiotics she had a bad infection and my vets felt that this was a long standing problem.....by this time i was feeling guilty i thought that this was my fault....i was assured that the woman who sold John her must have known she was poorly and went ahead and sold her anyway.........
:shock:Finaly we got Buttons on the road to recovery, we had planned to have her spayed well she went in for her op and my vets called me a short time after and said that she had died on the table but they had managed to save her well by this point i was out of my mind with worry....we discussed with the vets that we would wait till she was a bit older..so we are waiting, she could go for her op any time i guess in so worried about it happening again and not being so lucky next time....
:biggrin2:that brings me up to the present time lol...Buttons is so loving, gentle and a cheeky rascal, when she knows she shouldnt be doing something and she gets caught she runs up to me and gives me lots and lots of bunny kisses lol although i draw the line at her trying to groom the inside of my nose yuck lmao...
:bunnydance:Here are a few links to see her in action and any info, help, advice on bunny care will be most welcome and what breed she might be.....
