Business cards?

Is there any way at all for us to get business cards? With my rabbit tattoo and my awesome rabbit shoes that I always wear (hehe)....you wouldn't believe the amount of people who ask me about rabbits are are very curious.

About a month ago I had to talk to my bank teller for about 6 minutes about rabbits. I had to write down the forum address and explain it, ect....when handing out a business card would be so much nicer...and easier!

I agree, the pet food warehouse near my house is awesome they have rabbit adoptions from the spca and the best selection of rabbit toys and items anywhere. i was going to see if i can leave some cards there for the forum.

There are lots of sites that give away free business cards, althought you might have to pay some postage. The catch is on the back they have the printing companies name written, and you have to choose one of their own designs, but they have plenty.

Try searching VistaPrint.

Other than that what about MooCards? I LOVE MooCards. They are these little tiny long thin business cards, they are matt cardboard. You have a picture on one side and on the other side you can write 5 lines. Its £9.99 for 100 cards. Plus you can have a mix, so on those 100 cards you can have 5 different pictures, 20 cards of each. I convinced my Nan to buy some for her Cake design website and they look fantastic.

I thought we had a design worked out, but I don't know what happened since. I could really use some for the shelter!

Yeah theyre part of one of the sponsor packages (VIP Gold and Platinum). We are going to get them made and then have them available for purchase for everyone else.

Nadia had some designs worked out but it was going to be expensive to purchase the rights to some of the pics. I have one Ive designed and is very inexpensive but I dont have the money to front to purchase them right now and, needless to say, sas is a little preoccupied. Im hoping when things settle down for her we can get these printed and available to the members

Haley could you/they not just put the hard copy of the business card somewhere on the site so we can copy it and then print up our own business cards. They are quite inexpensive to buy. Gosh I hope what I'm trying to say makes sense.

Yeah thats a great idea, Susan. Thats probably what we would do- scan it in and make it available for people to download or if you wanted them shipped it would be a small fee or something..

I play an online game with tons of people VERY skilled with graphic designs. I'll look into paying them with "game money" to see if they can make me a business card design with some bunnies on it and stuff .

These cards have been designed three times over. It seems that whenever they're assigned to someone, something happens and that person ends up dropping it. The cards arecursed!

The latest versions are are kicking around here somewhere, I did a set of three using Jenson's pics I do believe. They are budgeted, somebody was handling the printing but that somebody isn't around anymore.

Where the designsare now isis anybody's guess, the search engine is busted, I can't find a thing. :tongue

This has been going on for at least 15 months, very depressing!

I'll take another look.

Pipp - you're NOT a whiner....you're just very busy.

But since you've shared....to save me pm'ing everybody...I'll just post here.

If you are a sponsor/staff member - whatever - if you have access to this folder - if you would like some of our "test" cards (once I receive them) - I need you to PM me with your mailing address.

Please understand that these are TEST cards only (we found an error AFTER I hit submit and I can't change this order) but we're going to be hoping for feedback on the business cards. We also have some other ideas in mind too - and we'll probably post those here (I'm guessing when we ask for feedback on the business cards that we send out).

I should receive the order within the next week and I will try to mail everyone's cards out the same day (as long as I have your postal address).

So....if you want some of the cards (it will probably only be 5-10 cards depending upon how many people are getting them as I placed a fairly small order)....just pm me your addy.

By the way - I will NOT be sharing your address with anyone else....I will only be collecting them for these cards.

If you are outside the US and would like to see the test cards - feel free to go ahead and send me your addy. We're only sending 3-5 test cards each since we just have a small order coming in....so it would be like sending you a letter...
