Hi! I'm new to rabbits and forums. Ihave a male holland lop and a new female hl. He never dug aburrow and she immediately did, lined it with leaves and a bit offur. Next day, one or both back-filled it. I re-dugjust to see what would happen and the next day it was filledin. She dug a new burrow, lined it with leaves and fur, filled it in! What is going on??

I honestly have no clue. Maybe she ishiding it when she covers it back up. Just observe her andsee what she does with it. Are they spayed andneutered? If not, she may be pregnant.

They are not fixed yet. We got thefemale to have one litter of babies and then my 10 year old daughter isgoing to use her own allowance to neuter our boy. Our boy,Jack, has been relentless withJill since we got her 3 weeksago. He is a retired show bunny we got from a friend and shelooks like him only with longer fur and kind of peach colored asopposed to his chocolate shades and white. Can you tell I amnew to Holland Lops?? Thank you for your inputearlier.

She might be pregnant. Maybe she's making a nest for the babies? I am newto this stuff too.
