The lionheadUSA list on yahoogroups was talking about

http://www.bearysweetbunnies.com/bunwarmers.html

today and I thought I would share about them here.

I think I am going to buy a few and have them on hand for future litters. I'm sure they're not that hard to make if I wanted to take the time to do it myself...but I'd rather just have the convenience of having them.

What do y'all think of them?

Since dwarf hotots can have only one kits sometimes, I really like the idea. I think it would be something I'd have to try and test for myself before I swore by it, but it looks to be a neat idea. :)

I think they're a good idea but I would be a bit concerned about the emergency ones. The stuff they have in them to generate heat can make a LOT of heat, and it could be too much for them. The others probably have a bunch of dry rice in them, which is fine. You could make the emergency ones have a pocket you could put a ThermaCare heat pack thing into as well, because those are easier to find than the handwarmer packets, and are meant to be put directly on a person's skin.

Well - I debated about sharing but since a few lionhead breeders shared on the list about how they have saved rabbits for them...I just figured I'd share.
