Oh my goodness, the buns are trying to scare me to death tonight.

First I was cleaning cages and I look over and Saphy is all floppedout, dead to the world. I've never seen him flop before, he'susually so hyper. It just caught me off guard, but I honestlythought he was dead. He didn't wake up until I called hisname. The silly boy, he just laid there.

Next it was Sampson's turn. I went into my room and he waslaying all flopped out in his cage too. I've seen him dothis, I've even seen him sleep, but not like this. His eyeswere open and rolled back in his head. It freaked me out sobadly, I shrieked his name. He looked at me like I was insaneand then promptly went to begging at the door of the cage. LOL

I've actually had the priveledge of watching Meat closely while she'sfalling asleep, & she slowly rolls her eyes up into her head asshe dozes off. Usually the eye-rolling happens roughly at thesame speed that her eyelids close so it's not terribly noticeable, butsometimes the eyelids seem to get "stuck" open & she just lookslike she's posessed. ;}

I think it's funny that the happier/more relaxed a bunny is (iebinkies, bunny flops), the more it looks like somethings dreadfullywrong with them. ;D

I agree, bunny flops are their way ofdriving us nuts. Apollo does it alot. I am constantly checking to makesure he's breathing. This guy gives me as many gray hairs as Jeremydoes. At this rate I'll be gray by 35 lol.

It gives me a chuckle to vacariously re-experience the "school of hard knocks lessons " that you are nowlearning as time goes by. Your stories are a hoot, plus they are invaluable for those rabbit owners who are right behind you on that unending rabbit learning curve we are all on.
