I have my 3 month old lop, shes a female and she's been urinating a lot and her feet, and underside by her tail and genitals are soaked in pee. i cut off the really bad piece of fur that were soaked but i have a feeling its just going to keep happening, im thinking about getting a litterbox with the grates on it so she cant step into her pee. but i hope she doesnt get sick or something bc she does NOT like water bc i tried to just wash her feet.

would that help with the problem. please let me know

It may not just be a behavioral issue. Bunnies usually don't like to be soaked in urine, it's uncomfortable and they prefer to be clean. A lot of times urinating on one's self is a sign of a urinary tract infection, generalized pain (ie from gas, teeth, whatever), or other urinary problem. You can try a grate on the litterbox. I have used plastic canvas you can get at Wal Mart and crafting stores--it's a plastic grid that the urine will go through. Also some people use fluorescent lighting grids from the hardware store. If that doesn't help, take her to a vet. To soothe the skin if it gets irritated, try preparation H, bag balm, or baby cornstarch.

are u keeping her cage clean enough for her...maybe change your bedding a little more often or i like the poop box idea instead..
