Hello! I noticed a earlier today that my rabbits eye looked watery. Her fur around her eye was kinda matted (not bad) it was just a tad bit matted. I cleaned them with warm water, which helped a lot. I would take her to the vet but my closest one is around 4-5 hours away because I live in a small town in Kentucky and I really don’t want to stress her out with that long trip. I was just wondering if there is a home remedy to treat it. I think it might be weepy eye not an infection. Thank you!

If it's not white or sticky, you can try flushing the eye out with plain sterile ophthalmic saline. It could be there is just a little debris stuck in there. If it doesn't clear up, the eye gets cloudy(corneal ulcer), or there are signs of white sticky discharge(infection), she will need to be seen by an experienced rabbit vet.
