Bunny search!

Okay with my bunny being all over the neighbor hood (with me supervising of course) everyone grows to know and love her.Now my mothers friend is just aching to have one too. She dosent want to get A bun from a pet store due to thier...lack of supervision shall i say.She asked me to come on here and put a post saying she would like a bun in Ottawa and she has a few requirements.

*Must be good with kids (She babysits her grandkids)

*Short haird

*Calm/People bunny

Have you tried checking on www.petfinder.com ? Theres lots of bunnies there and usually the shelter can tell you all about their personalities.

Hmmm it's great that she is interested... However, does she really know about bunnies? How old are the kids and do they respect pets? Does she understand that the bun may not want to be picked up? Sorry, I just had to ask because it would be sad if it ended up being given away because she wasn't expecting some things...

the Kids love animals and they are 5 and 7 and they will not have full acess to the bunny.

Wow, I wish you weren't so far away, I have a doe that would probably be great for a first timer. Darn it all, LOL.
