Ok, Hubby pulled the bed that was in there outtoday...so now its all bunny room...next step is to rip out the carpetand put in cheap tile, cheap due to limited budget and also if they ortheir cages are hard on it, I won't care so much.

So, for the walls I'm thinking of taking yellow (fairly bright) thatsleft over from my kitchen and painting it that color, then usingstencils to paint a flower garden in there. I had done thisin an old house and did lots of shading and such and the flowers lookedpretty realistic and had depth and such..I alsoputdragonflies and butterflies in there as well....it turnedout really cool but was ALOT of work....

Trying to find something (not that they care)that bunnieslike, just to make it more of a "bunny room"....I mean I know its notlike they can munch this stuff like they could if it were real...justwanna make it fun!!

I'm not 100% set on this yet, and an open to suggestions...so if anyone else has any cool ideas...let me know!!!

Why not just paint the walls to look like awildflower meadow, realistic. So everything starts at thebase of the wall and goes up.

Dont know how much time you have but I think that would look cool hehe. Too bad I dont live closer or I'd come help!

If I did this like I did last time, that wouldtake MONTHS at a minimum!!! It doesn't matter when this isdone, but I don't most likely have the patience or the back ache tolast that long!! IT KILLED my back last time!!

I don't know if you have a Deals dollar store ora Dollar Tree store in your town, But they sell the self stick tile$14.95 a box or 3 tiles for a dollar and some of it is very nice.

Hubby ended up finding some for 22centseach...its not what I woulda picked had I had any choice...but for thispurpose it'll be fine! :D

I did this once and it turned out really nice.

I painted the bottom half all the walls granny apple green. Then I found some cheap lattice work and attached it to the wall. Ipainted the upper part of the wall shy blue and sponged clouds on it.Starting from the lattce up I stenciled a garden. That way I only hadhalf a wall to paint.

Just an idea.

When we lived in this one duplux at the time wehad Abby when she was a baby. I painted the room in lavender purple andI painted butterflies in the middle of the wall as a border. Abby wouldjump up on the couch and try to play with the butterfly on the wall.

I love the idea!! HOw spoilt your buns are LOL Do you have astore that sells cut out stencils of flowers etc? that way you couldpaint them on with the stencil rather than painting it all by hand, even if you had your back ground and then spray painted withstencils????

Go to a craft stores like Joanns, Pat Catains,Micheals, or others and go into the stencils section and look for cutout stencils or the sponge stencils where you can dip intopaint.

WOW!! I thought my buns werespoiled! They have their own room right now, well they sharewith the ferrets and the rats, but it's nothing fancy. Whenwe move, they will have their own room again and I'll put tile down andpaint the walls something washable. LOL

I know that the house that we will be movinginto has tile floor in the basement gameroom area. So I probably coulddo a section with washable carpet and the rest in tile. Not a bad idea.
