Over the course of the week, I've noticed Remmy hasn't been interested in her pellets and has only been snacking on her hay. I've been trying to encourage her to eat pellets by hiding a few treats in the food. (She'll go and eat the treats no problem.)
This morning she finally ate her bowl of food and ate a good bit of her hay, but I noticed there was what appeared to be blood on her nose. I also noticed what I think is blood on the cage floor. (It's dark brown wood, so it's a little hard to tell if it's maybe a spot where she peed or dried blood.) Remmy wouldn't let me get a good look at it, but I was able to get a picture.
It's a little hard to see it in the picture since I had to try and sneak a picture in.
Other than the barely eating and blood on her nose, she is acting normally. She was binkying and running all over my room no problem. I checked her litter box and didn't see anything unusual there. I'm still very concerned though, she has never had bleeding of any kind.
Are there any other symptoms I should be looking out for? Should I try and take her down to a vet? I've been trying to research what could be causing the bleeding, but if she were having the problems that were described, I can't imagine she'd be running around and playing like normal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Remmy is my first bunny, so I'm still pretty inexperienced.
(Remmy will be 3 in November I believe.)
