bunny hiccups?

My bunny soundslike he has the hiccupps, it doesn't sound like a sneeze,which I have heard before. He is 9 !/2 years old and I justwant him to be as healthy as long as possibe.

any ideas what it might be?:bambiandthumper

I'm not positive, but I think rabbits actuallycan get the hiccups. I think mine did occasionally when theyywere babies.

Thanks for the reply. Like I said, mylittle guy is 2 1/2 lbs and 9 yrs old and I definitely want to keep himhealthy. This is something new for him.
