I have a netherland dwarf and a lionhead and they both just shed their coat and I was wondering, what is a good brush to use next time so there won't be hair all over the place? I was also wondering what I should use to wash my netherland dwarf's butt because he frequently gets poop stuck on it.

No matter what kind of brush you use, when bunny's are moulting there will be hair everywhere. You can use a soft bristle brush and a wire comb to brush them as this will help prevent them from getting hairballs and reduce the amount of hair everywhere. Your nethie should not be getting a poopy but all the time as this normally means something needs to change. Often poor diet is a cause for poo stuck to the bottom. Rabbits diets should be based on high quality grass hay ( or alfalfa if there under 7 months) and fresh leafy greens. Try reducing the amount of pellets he eats. If this does not help then take him to the vet for a checkup as there may be a problem. To clean his bottom use a wet paper towel and a bit of pet shampoo if necessary. If this does not work fill a tub with warm shallow water ( just enough that the bottom will be underwater and wash with pet shampoo. If the feces are dried hard and are quite stuck you may have to trim off the poopy fur or leave him in the water for a little while to soften the poo. You then may have to use you're fingernails to scratch it off. Yuck! Hope this helps and good luck with both you're buns

There are so many different types of brushes out there, some people swear by the furminator, they are a bit more pricey and I think they can be too much for longer coats like that of a lionhead, but are good for shorter fur.

I've also had recommended to me a simple black men's comb with fine bristles and apparently they work well, though I haven't tried it yet myself.

Bunnylovin is correct in saying that your nethie shouldn't be having poopy butt. I would take a good look at his diet and would probably begin by cutting it back to just hay and his daily serve of pellets. If that doesn't work, reduce the amount of pellets. What serving size of pellets does he get every day?
