I would like to hear all your views on something.

I have a 8 month old dwarf lop eared bunny. He is the runt of the litter and is only tiny. Ever since we brought him home he has been different to all other bunnys i know, even the vet said he had never seen one act like it. He comes to me for cuddles, he likes to lick me everywhere, runs around my feet grunts when he is on my knee and getting attention. He follows me everywhere even up the stairs. When he chases me we spend hours running backwards and forwards across the living room and basically acts more like a dog. When he was unwell and we took him to the vets he ran to me for support which shocked the vet as he jumped up at my chest and put both front paws on me.

He has not been neutered but i dont think that has anything to do with it because he has always done it since 5 weeks. I am due to get him neutered on monday. Do their personalities change and do they stop everything they were like before the op... does it cease to be a part of him?

Does my bunny think im his mummy or is he in love with me???

This behaviour is really strange.

Welcome to the forum!
Aww, how cute! Yes, it 'could' change, but likely it won't. Hard to say, depends on those hormones.;) I hope he doesn't change, that's cute!

:pray:I really hope it doen't change! I would be reallly heartbroken if he did. Have you has experience with nutering? How was your bunny after the operation?

How cute! What a great personality!

Some of his behaviors sound hormonal, like the circling, but I bet most will stick around to some extent as he gets older and calms down - but then all bunnies calm down with age usually.

We have a bunn that was found outside in October, so no idea how old he is!
He loves my hubby...follows him around everywhere, lays beside him when he plays video games, loves kisses and cuddles, sits onhubbys shoulder like a parrot...he even does the samething at the vet....he'll stand up and put his feet on me like..."OK...lets go home now please!"
...we were worried that would change when we got him neutered...
he didsettle down a bit...not as much of the circling and manic behavior as before...but he is still the cuddle bug we love and enjoy! :D

His behavior is pretty much the same overall! :D

He's just really friendly, nothing strange about it :) You obviously just look after him well :)

His friendliness won't change after being neutered. :)

My heart bunny was like that and she always stayed the same :)Sounds like you've got a lovely companion. Best of luck with his neuter!
