Bunny’s lip area (scabbed on the each side of the mouth)

My bunny is a French lob. I got him on November 11, 2020. I’m not sure what this is on the side of his mouth but please let me know if I need to take my bunny to the vet. I’ve been reading online about whatever this might be but I need to be sure. I’ll post a picture as well. Please let get to me ASAP.

I can't really see in the photo, but generally problems around the mouth either have to do with a dental issue because of drooling and sores inside the mouth, or can have to do with rabbit syphilis(particularly if there are lesions around the genitals). If there are definite sores at the corners of the mouth, that would be abnormal and something to have a knowledgeable rabbit vet determine the cause of.
